Children North East offers a range of men friendly training programmes and resources for practitioners and service users. We can develop and supply specific programmes and where required can 'hand hold' an organisation through all the steps involved in building services which include men.

We co-created the 'Developing Men Friendly Organisations' programme which is the leading accredited training programme promoting the inclusion of men in services and includes a detailed assessment tool enabling managers to identify the existing strengths and weaknesses in the organisation.

Through our 'Every Dad Matters' campaign we have supplied hundreds of organisations across the UK with men friendly resources to support their work. Publications include the 'My Dad Matters' poster set and 'Dads Matter' booklets for use in early years and learning settings.

We also offer programmes to develop work to include men in the children's workforce under the banner of Men into Childcare and we have developed programmes to enable work with young fathers.

All our training is based on our experience working with Fathers since 1997 across a range of settings including health, early years and education. In addition to the set programmes on offer our experienced trainers and father workers can work with your organisation to develop programmes to fit your specific needs.
